- Korean heritage jewelry cannot be understood through the names of old objects alone. Its meaning emerges only when we consider the material, the hand that shaped it, and the person, occasion, and manner in which it was worn.
- Since 2002, Kim Seong Eun has worked closely with jade, coral, amber, Korean silverwork, and traditional hair ornaments. Her practice has been shaped by years of selecting natural stones, creating alongside master artisans, and redesigning the forms of royal adornment for the way women live and dress today.
